TOO MUCH FUN!

The girls were playing "school" with the boys and they LOVED it.

Is there such a thing as too much fun? I am feeling like maybe there is!

In my last post I explained how much crazy fun we were having while Erik's dad was here. It was SO fun that our kids developed this expectation and everyday would wake up saying, "So what special thing are we going to do TODAY!?" It about drove me crazy and I told them we were doing NOTHING! We needed time to recover!

Then I proved my point by spending time on Saturday (the day after grandpa left)...

going to a baptism and having ice cream for lunch,

going to the Kindleberger Festival

and riding ponies

for FREE,

seeing MORE cars,

(you can never see too many in one week, apparently)

bounce house for FREE,

mini petting zoo (ducks, goats, sheep, rabbits, etc) for FREE,

and a Cinderella play for FREE!

I just can't go wrong with the FREE, that sure makes it FUN!

We took a definite break and did some recovery on Monday. So then on Tuesday we were ready to go to the library since the zoo brought some animals in and did a presentation. We also ate lunch at the park before we went.

If the air wasn't so thick I could hardly move, it would be heaven! It's been pretty awesome nonetheless.
