We Love Fall...
The leaves here in Michigan are already changing and starting to fall. I can tell over the next few weeks it is going to be gorgeous with all the colors. The crispy air, the cozy sweaters, the yummy smells...it's all good.
Erik's favorite season is fall...FootBaLL! Well, mostly COLLEGE football is what he is about. We are also well into our soccer season and loving it. They do soccer pretty different than we have experienced before - 5 v 5 with no goalies on a 1/4 field...? Anyway, we freaked at first, but it is working out great and there are only 6 girls on the team. Erik took the girls to practice last week and came home to ask me if I have seen the "Love Fest" that IS soccer practice. Ahhh, girls. They can't stop hugging each other.

Adah scored her first goal ever on Saturday and the look on her face shows how proud she is. Madelyn is defender extraordinaire. I get a little nervous every time she is put somewhere else.
This picture is from their first game, when it had been pouring rain from about 9am and continued through their entire game. They were so wet their ponytails were dripping.

Rhys has been added to the chore chart. His favorite words of the day are, "Rhys, you need to come do your chore..." He comes running to the kitchen, "YES!" Love it. It won't last more than a couple of years, but he is so excited right now!
