A couple of funny quotes from today. First, we sat down to eat a delicious pot roast dinner and Erik put gravy on Madelyn's plate. I must preface this with informing you that Erik makes fantastic buttery gravy. Madelyn leaned into her plate, took a big whiff and said, "I don't have words, its...its...I just want to eat it!"

During the same meal, Madelyn is talking about "Mickey's Christmas Carol" when Mickey is cutting his peas as he eats. She asks my why and I said it was because they didn't have much food, so he was trying to make his food last longer. Adah asked, "Why did they not have food? Were they pioneers or something?"
