Halloween 2011

Our Halloween Festivities spread over the last week...

First - Adah and Madelyn had planned a preschool Halloween party for Rhys and Seth. They made invitations and passed them out to a few friends. Then they planned a festive lunch, treasure hunt, made sugar cookies for decorating, and planned a craft. It was great fun!

This is the pizza I made. Adah"s spider web pizza looked much better than mine.
And a pizza that looks like candy corn.
The big surprise on the day of the party was that we awoke to about 7 inches of snow! It was awesome. Other than the party, the kids were out in the snow all day long.

Then the next day we went and found some sledding hills. One had obviously been over-used the day before, but the other was untouched until we arrived. The kids had a blast.

Saturday was our ward party. There was a chili cookoff and cinnamon rolls, activities, and a trunk-or-treat.

Donut on a string eating contest.

Pumpkin seed spitting contest...the boys were WAY better than the girls. It must be a boy thing.

Finally, we went trick-or-treating tonight.
